The Living Market by Old Fashion Foods began with a turning point. Several years ago, Stefanie was working in investments when her health took an unexpected turn. Feeling unwell and disconnected from her body, she made the brave decision to step away from her career and focus on healing. It was a leap of faith, but it changed everything.

Growing up, Stefanie’s mom had always believed in the power of supplements and natural wellness. Stef decided to give them a real chance. Within six weeks the difference was undeniable. Her energy returned, her confidence grew, and she felt ready to take on the world again.

She started by working in health food retail, where she was drawn to the atmosphere, people, and purpose behind the products. She learned everything she could and eventually moved to Weyburn. That’s where she found Old Fashion Foods. It felt like home. She appreciated its values, the focus on real food, and the genuine care for customers. When the opportunity came for Old Fashion Foods to change hands, she knew it was meant to be.

Today, Stefanie is the proud owner of Old Fashion Foods in Weyburn. Through the store, she has also launched The Living Market and carries the largest selection of supplements in the area. She curates the products herself, vetting everything that goes on her shelves. The result is a variety of supplements, specialty foods, and locally-sourced products that benefits both her customers and local producers.

Stefanie’s journey is the heart of The Living Market. It’s a place built on lived experience, natural products, and the belief that feeling well changes everything.

From the farmers of Southeast Saskatchewan to craftspeople living in Weyburn, we provide a space for local people to serve local people. And it doesn’t end with the supplements, specialty foods, and natural soaps, oils, and cleansers on our shelves.

The Living Market is proud to host a trio of supplement specialists in-store. They listen to, analyze, and recommend what your body needs to feel its best, whether that means losing weight, quitting smoking, or zeroing in on the whispers your body wants you to hear. We may have the widest selection of supplements and minerals in Weyburn, but we also want to help our customers get the most out of their experience.
